The Sugalily Story (or whipping up a social storm in tea cup)
sugalily is mainly me, abbey warner, a derby and london based designer of vintage and retro inspired stationery who also dabbles in the wonderful world of party, wedding and retail design and styling.
not forgetting the rest of the team who help create the sugalily magic and can usually be found in one of the studios or keeping the sugalily fires burning at home are rebecca watts, design guru who assists on longer term projects, ribbon tieing and pretty finishing touches and dispatch madame helen godrich.
and then bringing up the rear driving machine and fabulous bro, james and my ever supportive parents… wonderful mum, aka “warm angel” and dad, quite simply the best sales guru and all round genius and last but not least, my mischevious and very naughty dog, holly, who also likes to cast her discerning eye over the going’s on at our studios at forman street studios in derby or at our home studio at honeysuckle cottage.
also in the extended sugalily team are andy, wayne, gaz and jodie at purely digital, my extremely fabulous and patient printers, janet at gf smith, my highly sought after paper merchants, becki and caroline at red square photography my loyal and professional photographers and chris my lovely accountant..
we are currently stocked in lots of boutiques across the uk and channel islands as well as a couple of department stores including the world famous harrods on knightsbridge in london, whom we design a bespoke line of luxury cards for.
we also design luxury social wedding stationery and love nothing better than kicking back, creating a mood board for our brides.
we are lucky enough to also be involved with a lot of design and styling work, from bespoke design including social stationery, branding and communications through to style and design services including parties and launches, homes and retail space.
