a handmade christmas (part one)

well phase one of pimp my festive pad is complete, with the christmas tree delivered, installed and partially decorated in the garden room (boyfriend returned home from a golfing trip with tree number two, smaller not as pretty, but the thought was there and very pretty, quite plain wreath) and door wreath proudly hanging.

i recycle my christmas decorations and have been using the same wooden ones bought from a market about five years ago, with the odd new addition thrown in for good measure.

tomorrow i will go and buy some candy canes and other goodies to hang up there to tempt visitors too, but also to add lots of colour to the tree.

a nice, v low cost addition to your festive decorations is to use ribbons, for bows on trees or anything else that takes your fancy.

now im just going to sort out my recycled advent calendar and onto phase two this week..
